We have a brand new skeet field and five, state of the art trap fields available with leagues running year round.
Welcome To The Andover Sportsman's Club
We are 500 members strong, operating 140 acres in rural Andover, Connecticut. We offer skeet, trap, sporting clays, archery and rifle and pistol ranges. We host a variety of events during the course of the year aimed at promoting shooting sports with many of our events open to the public. In addition to our facilities, we host the Hunter Safety Training and NRA instruction. Enjoy your stay and if you have any questions please feel free to email our staff.
Training and Certification
We host CE/FS Hunter Safety Training and the NRA Basic Pistol course.
NRA Training
We have a number of certified NRA instructors who provide the NRA pistol course, a one-day course open to the general public, and a requirement for obtaining a permit to carry pistols and revolvers.
Conservation Education
Conservation Education/Firearms Safety courses are administered by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Wildlife Division and are taught throughout the year by our certified volunteer instructors.
Firearms Safety
Safety is paramount and we live by the four primary rules of Fireams Safety. Treat every gun as a loaded gun, always point the muzzle in a safe direction, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot and know your target and what's beyond.
